The Australian Singapore Law Students’ Society was established on 04 February 2012 after it was discovered that Singaporean students pursuing a law degree in Australia lacked a national and collective representation unlike its United Kingdom counterparts.
In a 2014 census, the AUSLSS officially accounts for 350 Singaporean students and graduates
In 2015, the AUSLSS embarked on planning a 5 to 10 years master plan to ensure a succession and continuity to the AUSLSS
The association functions as a primary link between the legal industry in Singapore and Singaporean law students studying in Australia. Events, newsletters and other initiatives will be organised in line with this aim.
